I love God for his wisdom and for his patience. I'm glad that he has appointed a time for everything. For everything there is a season and a purpose under the sun. Not even as Christians but as humans it is in our nature to try to figure everything out. To judge among ourselves whom we feel worthy for this or for that. The honest truth is, it will be determined at the end of the world. Unfortunately, there are people faking it and aren't gone make it, and they look just like Christians. Lets look at the parable about the wheat and the tare. It is written in Matthew 13:24-30, Jesus is teaching his disciples a very valuable lesson here. The seed in this parable is the word of God, the scripture says a man sowed good seed in the land and while the man slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. So, when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. And the servant of the owner came in and said, Sir, did you not sew good seed in your field? form whence then hath it tares? He said unto him, the enemy have done this. The servant said unto him, wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, no; lest while you gather up the tares, you root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat in my barn. My, my, my!!! Let's look closer into this passage as it relates to us today. I'll start with a question. What kind of seed do you have? What is it that God has given you to grow? To bear fruit, to multiply? He has given us all the measure of faith according to Romans 12:3 but what kind of seed do we have? Ok, now you have your seed, you plant it in the ground, on good ground, and it begins to grow. And as you begin to see the fruit of your labor you recognize that something is different. One fruit just aint as colorful as the other, however they look the same. People begin to question you. They question your work ethic, they question your personal lifestyle. They even question if God is even with you. But I'm here to encourage you and tell you that the enemy has done this. But not to fret because it is not our place to judge. God said let them grow up together, because while you trying to clean up the tares you start to damage the wheat. The faithful, the dedicated, the righteous suffer at the hands of the wicked when you try to judge. God said let Him do the picking and plucking and rooting out. Harvest time is coming and we shall all reap what we have sown. If we have sown discord among the brethren, clamor and hatred that is what we will reap. If we have sown brotherly love and forgiveness that is what we will reap but we are not here to do the picking!
We find ourselves in tare-able situations in this thing called life. Trying to decipher what's real and what's fake, who is genuine whose not, who on your team and support you and who really don't care if you win or loose. My dear friends we must not waste the little precious time we are left with, with our eyes on each other. We must turn our focus and keep it on God. Endeavoring to keep ourselves holy and acceptable which is our own reasonable service. (Romans 12:1-2) We are to grow in love, in forgiveness, in wisdom, in strength, in faith. And I know sometimes that's easier said than done but the enemy is watching, and roaming the earth seeking whom he may devour. We must remain sober minded and be vigilant (1 Peter 5:8-9) Seek God for yourself. Know God for yourself, He is unchanging, and the most reliable thing you can count on. When all else fails, all hell breaks loose, people scandalize your name, friends and family walk away from you, everything falling apart around you and nothing seems right, grow up with the mess. God sees you. He knows your heart, He has seen the sacrifice and heard every prayer. Keep GROWING UP! Don't let life or people tare you down.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER??
How hungry are you? What do you desire from God? Do you thirst for him more than food, or life itself. We have to take inventory of our spiritual appetite, and know what exactly what is driving it or the motive behind the seeking. Many people make the mistake, for seeking God for a miracle, or a blessing, or selfish desires, but forget about how important it is to have that pure intimacy with God. I personally, desire more from God. I need him more than life itself. Nothing else can satisfy the longing I have to be close to my creator. No job, no man, no amount of money or status could compare to being in the presence of Almighty God! The bible promises us that if we hunger for God we shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 says,"Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." God longs for us to seek after him. Our spirit man longs to be in constant communion and fellowship with the Father. The Psalmist Maschil wrote about it in Psalms 42:1-2 it says." As the hart (deer) panteth after the water brooks, so panteth (intense eagerness) my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God.." Our desire for God must supersede any other thing in our life. More than our need to succeed, or be great. We are to live by the word of God. Matthew 4:4 says,"....It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." The word is the very thing that feeds our soul. It draws us to him, and peaks our suspicions to the supernatural world.

Revelation
Revelation is God's disclosure of Himself and His will to His creatures. It is something that is revealed that was not realized before. God desires to revelate himself to us everyday. As we seek him earnestly and with the whole heart, he begins to open our eyes and ears to what the spirit is saying. Deuteronomy 4:29 says,"If thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." We lack understanding of who we are because we have little revelation of who he is. The intimate love relationship with God will help us receive all that he has desired to release since the beginning of time. It is essential that we receive the Holy spirit, after giving our lives to Christ. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, and revelator. He will reveal what is the will of God, what direction to take, bring the word back to our remembrance and comfort us. He is the Spirit of Truth. John 16: 13 says,"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." We abandon our own translations of what we believe to be true, and lean not to our own understanding but acknowledge God in all our ways that he may direct our path. (Prov. 3:5-7). We obtain revelation, through the persistence of seeking him and his wisdom. Proverbs 2:2 says," Incline thine ear unto wisdom, an apply thine heart to understanding." It goes on to talk about if you seek wisdom as silver, and search for her as hidden treasures, then thou shalt understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. James 1:5 tells us that," If any man lack wisdom let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth (reprove, or blameth) not and it shall be given him."
God is revealed by word and Spirit. Matthew 4:4 says,"Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."(Duet. 8:3) We find substance in seeking, waiting, hearing, and gaining revelation from God. In him we live, we breathe, and have our being.(Acts 17:28) We learn to live off the very words of God. We have to become desperate for God. Our lives have to depend on encounters and interventions with him. We have to crave hearing from him. Without desperation we get satisfied with our present state or status and become our own worst enemy. Without revelation of what God intends, we can't move in overcoming faith , because we don't have any hope. It is impossible to have faith without hope. We must believe that God is always with us and will never leave us or forsake us. Deut.31:6 says,"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee: he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." We must be confident that God will speak to us. He will reveal what his will is for our lives as we focus more on him than the situation at hand. We must maintain a desperation and hunger for God that can never be satisfied. We must be absolute in devotion and uncompromising in purpose. So take the time to wait on the Lord, don't fear, hear what the spirit is saying, and let him reveal himself to you. Amen.

I COUNT IT ALL LOST!
Sometimes in life you have to give it all up! And when I say all I mean "ALL"! We must be careful to pay attention to our devotion to our earthly possessions. That's anything, a person, place, or thing. (noun) Philippians 3:7 says,"But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ." Simply stated, those things, people, or ideas we feel we have gained in the world, through ungodliness, and sin, in our unrighteousness, we loose for Christ. We have to let go of the all the things that hinder us from going forward in God. Unfortunately, it's sometimes the things that we hold dear that we have to let go of. That very special someone that you love dearly but is causing you to walk unholy, or that favorite car that distracts you from spending time with the Lord. We have to withdraw our affections for the natural or material things and think on those things which are above. Colossians 3:1-3 says,"If ye be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." That scripture encourages us to pursue God, and HIS way of doing things. Now, don't get all dramatic on me, and say,"Well, I'm supposed to let go of my man, and my car, because it's causing me to live ungodly?" When I say let go, I mean change your mindset. Sit down with your mate (if that's the hindrance)and talk about what needs to change. If you all are not married, and live together, and have relations, you both are hindering each other from progressing.Loose the ungodly way of living and seek the biblical way of life and set those boundaries that will cause your life to realign to the strait and narrow way. Don't be afraid to stand up for what's right. You are naturally going to be looked down upon and discussed just for seeking what's right. People don't like to see you change for the better, they say they do, but, people want you change the way they want you to change. Step outside of these limitations and loose those weights and sins that so easily beset you. (Heb.1:1-2)
The bible says," If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature."(2 Corinth. 5:17) Once you become saved, and become a new creature, you must put on the likeness of God. You must forsake all your own ideas, plans, and rely on God to create a path for you and bring you into your destiny. We all have a purpose in life, and it's not to be successful, get married, or have children. Those are just platforms that God will use to fulfil his will. We were all created to worship God, so when you began to devote your time, effort, and energy more into fleshly or earthly things, you have now began to worship it and have now crept into the sin of idolatry. God speaks against idolatry in the ten commandments, the first commandment is, Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3)
The bible says, we cannot serve two masters, either we will love the one and hate the other, or hate the one and serve the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Luke 16:13) We make a decision everyday who we serve. Not by what religion we claim, or church we attend, but by our daily lifestyles. Our lives speak for us and our devotion or dedication to God is not in deeds but in how we serve each other. We must remember to take the low place and esteem each other higher than ourselves. Taking on the attributes of God. Living by the spirit. Allowing the fruit of the spirit to manifest in us. (Gal 5:22-25) Let us keep in remembrance what Jesus gave up, to become a servant and save mankind from damnation. How have you changed since becoming a follower of Christ? Have you adjusted your lifestyle not just your language? Have you taken hold of those ungodly thoughts toward your enemy, or even your brother or sister in Christ? Are you holding on to sin, or compromising because of comfortability? Have you counted it all LOST???

Blah Blah Blah!
Have you ever been talking to someone, and inside your head, you were thinking," PLEASE SHUT UP!" lol Well, lets see what the bible says about this. Ephesians 4:29 says,"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying (benefiting), that it may minister grace unto the hearers. If we are not speaking positive things, or things that will uplift others then we need to take inventory of what is coming out of our mouths. Sometimes its just best to be quiet. We often times cause warfare on ourselves by opening our mouths, either at the wrong time or we are talking in error. Let us be mindful of the things coming out of our mouths. The bible speaks about how unruly our tongues are and untamed it is. James 3:5-6 says,"Even so the tongue si a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. We must learn to take control of our mouths, and understand that we don't always have to have the last word. We must realize the power of our words. 2 Timothy 2:16 says," But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. Once we open our mouths to speak vainly it leads to other sins. You start out talking about who was at church last night, then end up talking about the wig or shoes somebody had on. It's so easy to slip into ungodliness, without even realizing it. We slip by taking our focus off of God and our need for him in every way.
Luke 24:1-32 tells the story of 2 men on a journey from Jerusalem, to a village called Emmaus. Jesus had been ressurected by the power of the Holy Ghost, and these two men were talking to each other about all that happened, and while they were talking, Jesus appeared and asked them," What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?" They did not realize that Jesus was listening to their conversation, they were so consumed in their words that they didn't even realize that it was Jesus talking to them until they invited him into their house to eat and he disappeared before their eyes. We have to be mindful of the conversations that we are holding. That we stay away from gossip and rumors. From murmurring and complaining. Phillipians 1:27 says,"Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ...." If you find yourself not being the one speaking in vain but surrounded by people who does then you have to correct them or remove yourself from their company. We must remember that everything we say and do is being recorded in heaven. Philippians 3:20 says,"For our conversation is in heaven...." what do you want God to hear your saying? Is your speech pleasing to him? Are you uplifting your brother? Are you praying for the less fortunate? Are you speaking life or death? Are you using his name in vain? Are you cursing or are you blessing with your lips? Are you talking just to be talking or are you using your words for a purpose? Think before you speak my friends :-)

FEAR GOD NOT MAN...
"I ain't scared of nothing"are one of the very ignorant statements that I have made throughout the course of my life. I have found that I am always in need of a big healthy dose of the fear of God. The bible says,"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom..." ( Proverbs 9:10) When I say fear, I don't mean scared of God, although God is dreadful, he wants us to have a reverential fear. A fear of reverence for who he is. We must remember the God that we serve. The all knowing loving God, but also the most powerful, all seeing, righteous judge who shall judge the earth, requires us to have the fear of God. Deuteronomy 5:29 says,"O that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!" When you have the fear of God you don't move, act, or think outside the will of God. Having the fear of God will keep us focused on staying on the strait and narrow and away from being distracted. It is His commandment that we fear him and serve him. (Deut.6:13) Which means it is something that we must do. We can't live a life of Christianity, without it. It keeps us mindful of our need for God in our everyday life. The fear of the Lord causes us to set boundaries on ourselves. Good boundaries that is. There is only so far we can go because we know God is always watching, always looking, he is always hearing what is going on. Nothing is hidden from him. All things are naked before him. (Hebrews 4:13)
The bible tells us numerous times not to fear man. Not to be afraid of there faces. Matthew 10:28 says," And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." That scripture plainly, explains itself. We are not to be so moved by people here on earth that it leads us to disobey the laws of God. We should not be driven by the satisfaction or approval of man, whose days are as a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, then vanisheth away. (James 4:14) We can't be ashamed or afraid to be different. To be the outcast. To be talked about, ridiculed, persecuted, back stabbed, and turned on. We can't be so fearful of man and what they say that we loose our focus on God. But we must fear God. We must fear him more than we fear man. We should be thinking about what God thinks of us. Are we pleasing to him? Does he accept us? How can we get closer to him? How can we make him happy? We must be ever mindful of the jealous God we serve, that said," Thou shalt have no other god before me" (Exodus 20:3) We allow man to reign over us when we are affected by there impression of us. The world is not going to like you, everything you say is going to be offensive because they are blind. They don't possess the fear of God, nor do they understand the need to. They are self indulged in what looks like or seems to be the truth, yet are lies and deception. However, they don't have to stay in this state. By simply acknowledging God and turning away from sin, we begin to get understanding through the fear of the Lord.(Prov.1:7) Through the fear of God we are humbled, and recognize God as supreme, in all things and in all ways. He is the highest and the beginning of all things. 2 Cor.7:1 says,"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." We are to be holy for God is holy. We are to set ourselves aside for His use. The more we fear him and keep his commandments the closer we get to him. The clearer we hear from him, the easier it is to get through this short lived life, and we find joy in our salvation. So whats the conclusion of the whole matter you say? FEAR THE LORD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS! (Ecc.12:13)
Thank you for reading today's post, I pray you got something out of it. I die DAILY...
On my journey as a Christian, one of the many lessons I first learned was to cruicfy, or kill, my flesh. Not literally of course. I mean not to indulge in the sinful pleasures or desires of my flesh. Whether they be my nasty attitude when somebody say something I don't like, my lustful desires toward the opposite sex, or my unforgiving thoughts toward someone. God wants us to quickly handle these issues by dying to our flesh. Becoming numb to the hunger pains to feed into the negativity and immorality of sin. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:31,"...I die daily." He meant everyday he has to kill his flesh. We cannot walk in the flesh. Driven by our own ways and thoughts. We must adpot the mindset of Christ in every area of our life. Jesus understood that we were made flesh, he told his disciples in Matthew 26:41,"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." He forewarned us of our frail bodies and strong spirit. We must exercise our faith in God and build up our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost. (Jude 1:20)
God has helped me to understand that my flesh will always put up a fight. The more I try to concentrate on the right things, seems like there is even more chaos. Even the apostle Paul understood that when he desired to good that evil was always present. (Romans 7:21) We are always going to face challenges in our lives as well as challenging people but the hope we have is in Christ that greater is HE that is in YOU, than he that is in the world. God said, we have overcome them. (1 John 4:4) We have to stay in a place of love and fellowship with God so that we can take on his characteristics. Because we are born in the flesh and of the flesh, everyday, we have to make a descicion to put on the mind of Christ. To lay down our way of thinking and take own the attributes of our maker. This my friends, is not an easy task but definfintely possible.
As we let love reside in our hearts, this task of dying to our flesh becomes easier and easier. Although, I have not mastered this quest, I am gaining more understanding through different stages of my life. I am now beginning to fully understand the importance of dying to your flesh over the need to be right, over the need to have friends, over the need to be loved or even considered. When I gave my life to God, it was a commitment to him to give him my life in its entirety. For him to change everything about me that wasn't like him. I believe what hurts people the most is that we can't accept that everone does not think the same way we do. We are disturbed by our own differences. Every one grows and develops at different stages of life. We all don't mature at the same time, or even with age. We as people want to love and be loved. To accept and be accepted, but God said come out from among them (THE WORLD) and be ye seperate, and touch not the unclean thing. (1 Corinthians 6:17) So that simply states, if the people surrounding you don't have the same mindset, toward the faith, or even in living a clean God-fearing life, then we ought to seperate ourselves. Nothing personal between you or that person but because we are of the flesh and are trying to stay out the flesh we have to keep ourselves around like minded people that are trying to do the same thing. I mean its temptation enough alone to curse somebody out, ignore them, and judge them, then to have somebody feeding the negativity. Cheering you on when you do wrong or get somebody told. We have to stregthen each other in the faith. Now Im not saying you can't talk to your friends anymore once you get saved. Im simply saying if you know you not strong enough to stop doing wrong with the samr cirlce of friends. Remove yourself until you are strong enough to do so. If they are really your friend they will understand your transition and be glad to see a positive change in you. We must run this race til the end.
In this race there are many hurdles. There is always going to be a crowd of people in the stands, (not even running the race you are) that have something to say about how you running your race. If we were to stop running to run in the stand and acknowledge and dispute every word spoken against us we would then loose focus, get off track, and ultimately loose the race. The devil would lov eto side track us in the flesh. He will try everything to distract us from pressing toward the mark. Paul said in Galations 5:7,"Ye did run well: who did hiinder you that you should not obey the truth?" Im asking you? Who hindered you? What hindered you? Our own flesh? Our own thoughts and ways? Make the decision everyday to cruify your flesh, and to let patience have its perfect work in you. Choose to love and not hate. Choose to forgive na let stuff go. Choose life over death my friends. Die today that we may live tomorrow. In Jesus name. Amen.
Thank you for reading todays post. I pray you got something out of it. Please remember to spend time in the word and prayer everyday as it is essential in your walk with the Lord.
