Young and Stressless

Stress is mental, emotional, or physical strain or tension. We could all say we have our share (fair or not) of stress. We experience stress at every stage of our lives. When we are infants to when we are elders, stress is a constant part of our lives, if we allow it to be. As young people, it can seem to overshadow us consistantly in and at various times. The question is how do I let go? How do I rid myself of worry and distress? How do I go on like eveything is ok when I feel that the world is crumbling around me. Ultimately, how do I find PEACE? The answers to all these questions is in GOD, and his word. We find relief in God because he has given us the remedy and has empowered us with the knowledge to overcome such devices of defeat in our mental and emotional fight against stress.
So let's look at peace for a while, what does it really mean to have peace? Peace can be defined to be a state of harmony,a stillness, a undisturbed calm, serenity, freedom, serenity and contentment. Wow, sounds so much better than strain and tension huh? We seek peace in areas of war and commotion but I have fond that most if not all people simply want peace within. So, in my own effort to find peace within, I turned to the good book, The Holy Bible. The bible says according to Ephesians 2:14
"He is our PEACE", which is God himself. So I must first understand and recognize who He is. Our creator and Lord over all tthe earth wants to be your everything, and in him is where we find peace. We must accept him into our lives, confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts and we shall be saved (Romans 10:9) Thats the most important decision that you'll make in your life. To me it is a giant leap forward in seeking solice and finding direction in your life. The bible speaks about finding rest for your soul (Matthew 11:29) Psalms 62:1 says my soul finds rest in God alone. Here we see that there is no other way but God. We mut learn to trust im whole heartedly and trust that he has a plan for us. The bible says in Jeremiah 29:121 that the thoughts he has toward us are thougts of good and not evil, o give us an expectant end.

Now, some might say just being young brings stress and I would not argue that statement, I would just say it depends on how you look at it. How we view our lives and situations plays a very important factor. We must turn the pressures of life into a good thing. Be encouraged my friends we must fight the good fight of faith. Stay encouraged. I will be blogging different topics and subjects. Please give me feedback on different subject you want to discuss or learn about.
