Motivated Haters

The famous saying is, "If you don't have haters, you not doing something right". The fact of the matter is, people are always going to have something to say about what your doing in your life, whether you ask for their opinion or not. There are people, that hate to see you succeed, grow, and move forward, yet if you weren't doing anything at all, you too would be the topic of discussion. In today's world, if you publicly profess to believe in God and serve him, you are somewhat of an outcast or religious freak. The truth of it all is that it's not you that they hate, (MARY MARY made the saying famous), its the God in you that they hate.(John 7:7) People, hate to see you change for the better. They dislike the fact that you have chosen to stop certain behaviors and automatically expect for them to stop (although they not ready) when you do. Mistakenly, this is not the case. I remember every time I would stop doing things with my friends I knew I wasn't supposed to be doing as a Christian, I wouldn't hear from them as much, or wouldn't see them as often. Not because I was all of a sudden a holy roller, but because I knew I wasn't strong enough to resist the temptation of going back to those things, and I didn't want to be a hypocrite. I wanted to walk the walk I talked about. Overall, Ive learned that those people in your life who support the good that you do, and encourage you to stay on track are the ones that will stick around. Christian or non-Christian, good friends have always been hard to find. Luke 6:22-23 says, " Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of mans sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets." There you have it! Count it as a blessing when people separate themselves from you, because you speak the truth, or walk a holy walk. Be motivated by the evil done to you, don't let it turn into spite, and feel bad because you don't fit in. BE YOU!!! A CHILD OF GOD!!!


John 15:18-19 says " If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore, the world hateth you." So, the next time somebody single you out and decided to pick on you, or nobody likes you because your different, just remember that scripture. Have confidence in the God we serve that we will be rewarded for our faithfulness to him as true followers of Christ. These are the last days, the world is getting even more corrupt. Those that are constantly in the public eye, the entertainers, actors, and athletes are not setting good examples, on how to live right. They promote same sex marriage, which is not of God, they promote lust, greed, and blasphemy. Yet, they have the most loyal followers. I mean you cant tell some of these crazy fans nothing bad about little miss Beyonce'. NOOOOOOOOO chile, they will call you everything but the child of God you are. (Literally,lol) The thing that baffles me is that, these same people can be so influential to the kingdom of God id they would convert. Millions of people, profess to be Christians but won't live the life that God requires. No one wants to live holy, no one wants to wait to have sex before marriage, no one wants to stop drinking and smoking, no one wants to not be able to go to the club, no one wants to dress appropriately. The biggest myth going around is that when you get saved you cant have no fun. Let me be the first to bust up that lie! I have fun everywhere I go! And no , I don't drink or smoke. You don't have to pile up the list of sins just to have fun. Don't get me wrong either folks, if you are genuinely saved, and have just not been delivered from some of those things then God knows your heart. He knows if you really are trying to change and haven't overcame that stronghold, but he also know when  you know better and you testing the waters. Lets be careful not to tempt the Lord our God. And we must remember that we are a witness to the world, even though they might persecute us, they are looking for us to be the example of good.


Love is always a way to deal with situation or somebody that hates you. The bible says in Mathew 5:44, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you (literally, lol), do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite fully, use you, and persecute you." Talk about turning the other cheek! It takes God, to really be on the inside of you to walk away from these scenarios, but I'm telling you its so worth it. The other person be all jacked up and mad and you smiling because it doesn't affect you. you have peace, because God has taught you how to love regardless of how you treated, to always take the humble road. This is how we exemplify Christ in the world. This is what makes us stand out and show the world that LOVE conquers all, every time. 1 John 4:8 says " He that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is love." We must be the light in the earth and let those that hate the God in us motivate us to stay on course, love stronger, forgive, and help each other. The world say that their haters motivate them to get more money, or to prove that they can go through life all by themselves with no help. But our motivation is our reward in heaven. That Jesus, smiles when we don't feed into the negative statements, and comments, the sarcastic saying made toward us because greater is HE that is in you than he that is in the world. Count it all joy my friends, when you fall into divers temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (James 1:2-3) So, remember to walk the walk we talk about and Love somebody today. Stay motivated :-)
