The Blind Side

Our senses have shaped our world from birth. If we can feel it, smell it, taste it touch it we believe it to be true. As reborn Christians, we are taught to believe what we can't see and lean not on our own understanding.(Prov. 3:5) To be mindful of what we surround ourselves with, listen to, think about, touch and even eat. It might sound crazy but what God wants us to do is believe, the unbelievable, what our minds can't conceive. I mean that is how we became a Christian right? We never saw Jesus, but we believe he died for us and shed his blood for us that we now are saved. We are like Thomas, one of Jesus' disciples, who was not there after the resurrection of Christ. He was told about Jesus being raised from the dead but he said " ...except I SEE in his hands the print of the nails, and put my hands in his side, I will not believe. (John 20:25) Unfortunately, allot of us are the same way. Its hard for us to believe or have faith in something we can not see. That's why, its so many lost souls now because their natural minds wont let them accept the truth, being, that Jesus was God in the flesh, walked the earth, came from a virgin womb, died, and rose on the 3rd day. Sounds ludicrous right?!! (not the rapper lol) Well, we all know the end of this story here in John, Jesus came to them, and after the door was shut he immediately addressed Thomas. He said " Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands: and reach hither thy hand and thrust it into my side: be not faithless but believing".( John 20:27) Whew JESUS!!! lol I mean it don't get no simpler than that folks. Jesus himself knew that he doubted and came directly to him to show him he was not dead but alive. Then Jesus went on to say " Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed". That's us! We believe God to be who he is, and believe these words given to us, in the bible are true, and we stand on these very words, in times of adversity, hopelessness, despair, lack, and grief. In my last post, I talked about how HIS words are truth, and they are Life. We began to see how important it is to believe.


Faith is so powerful. Its whole basis is believing in the unseen. Not being moved by what we see naturally, but what existt in the supernatural realm. Hebrews 11:1 says " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". Verse 3 says " Through faith we understand, that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear". God created our world from his word, and we must do the same, we can change any situation or circumstance simply with God's word. There is power of life and death in our tongues (Proverbs 18:21) We are to be blind to what our natural eye tell us, we must stay on the blind side when it comes to negativity, and opposition. We must speak the word only and stay focused, because the adversary, the devil is walking about the earth, as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8). There are many people that are blind spiritually. Don't get me wrong, they are intelligent, educated, very well rounded individuals, but they have not exercised their faith and tapped into the supernatural realm. We have power here on earth, to loose things in heaven and on earth, and to bind things in heaven on earth. Matthew 16:19 says he will give unto us the keys of the kingdom of heaven. We must take up our place of authority and speak those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17) When we use the name Jesus, every force, stronghold, demon, devil, principality, or any other power is subject to that name. There is power in the name Jesus! So let's use the power that we have been given as kings and priests, joint heirs with Jesus, Sons of the prophets, and daughters of Zion.


The next time you are face with something, speak to it! Say, "I cant even see you (insert problem here) lol lets say debt, I cant even see you debt, I am blind to all distractions, and hindrances that will try to stop my faith from growing. I see, increase and abundance in my life, I speak to my bank account and decree and declare and abundance and a overflow of money. I believe the word of God that says he has given me the power to get wealth (Duet 8:18) and that by humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honor, and life. (Proverbs 22:4) that a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches. (Proverbs 22:1) Lord, I repent for being a bad steward over the money you have blessed me with, for not giving when I was supposed to, not paying my tithes or giving an offering when I was supposed to.  Look upon me Oh God and turn away this warfare, let my enemies be your enemies and fight against them that fight against me (Psalms 35:1) I believe your word is true, and I use my faith as you told me to according to Matthew 21:21 that says if I have faith and doubt not, I shall say unto the mountain be thou removed and cast into the sea it shall be done. So I speak to this mountain in debt in my life and tell it to be removed never to return to me again. I thank you for your mercy and your grace and praise you for it is already done! In JESUS NAME AMEN!!! Hallelujah!! Ya'll done got me to praying over here on this computer, hallelujah! THANK YOU JESUS! HE IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!! All it takes is for us to believe, we read about it, sing about, can tell others about it but we must exercise our faith and build up our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost (Jude 1:20)


God will supply the need, heal your body, save the lost soul, redeem the sinner, love the motherless and be the best friend you can count on. Oh ye of little faith, step out of the darkness into the marvelous light, HAVE FAITH IN GOD!  Don't let the tedious things of life, distract you from standing on the promises of God, so what things didn't change today but they will. Make the best out of every situation, be encouraged, watch what you say, think positively, because God is on your side my sister and he loves you more than you know my brother. Whose side are you on? The blind side or have your understanding been enlightened? (Ephesians 1:18)
